Cold Front
If you haven’t heard yet it’s been usually cold here over the past week. Temperatures have dropped to a bone chilling 15 degrees. That may not sound cold to you Eskimos over in Canada, but we don’t live in igloos over here. I have had to pull out my pants, buy leggings, wear socks and even purchase sweaters. We even contemplated buying mitts and scarves. All of our air conditioners have been replaced with heaters and the students have been arriving at school with 3 to 4 layers of clothing worn underneath their jackets. The mice have also been appearing in our rooms looking for a warmer place to go about their mouse business. Thankfully our temperatures are getting closer to normal lately and the socks have been put away.

LOL, just because you've been over there 2 months doesn't mean you've forgotten about life in Canada...ESKIMOS! hahaha, you're a funny one...I happen to like living in my igloo, thank you very much, hahah...you know you miss it :) You might miss it more around Christmas when you'd usually see snow.
ReplyDeleteLooking at your weather now, I see it's going to be 24 degrees on Tuesday, so everyone can stop dressing like Eskimos in 3 to 4 layers UNDER their coats...bit extreme, they'd never survive over here, haha!
Miss yas!!

Thanks for the updates....I printed them off and gave them to Grammie to read. She loved reading them.
